For overall fitness,these workouts aint all that.It develops crazy upperbody static strength but nothing else.Whats wrong with weights?If locked up and for somereason you cant left weights, this is ok,but if free,its better to incorporate weights and some type of high intesity cardio.

This dude at my gym does this shit. He has mad upper body but his legs are like toothpicks. Sad really.

That being said, this "thug workout" looks good if all you're trying to develop is a disproportionate upper body..and to even do these exercises you're going to need to be in pretty good shape. I hope none of you guys plan on running to the playground and trying this shit, you may end up losing your grip and hitting the cement pretty quickly.

Yeah this had some homo undertones to it - only dude that came off real was the dude that was doing the forearms in the first clip and talking all fast. The way those other cats were giving him space I know he's the type of cat that wants his money before he asks for it even if didn't loan you anything - just make sure his drink is cold and his blunts are rolled when he rolls through. Capt cutty, I do the exact same workout as these guys and believe me, you don't have to hit the weights before hand to get that look. I'm a park workout dude too (minus the jail and tough guy shit) and I will tell you, you will feel 100 times better and stronger doing these type of workouts. When I first started to workout, I went to the park everyday and did 1-3 pull- ups, then I increase everyweek(adding dips, push-ups, etc) for the summer and became mad ripped. Only when I wanted to get bigger did I decide to even touch the weights. Also, what you said is a 110% true, diet is the biggest aspect to this fitness thing.

All diet is the truth. I'll paint a picture easily for you. Compare a NFL WR to a Offensive Linemen. They'll do similar type workouts. The WR will eat 2500 calories in a day while that Linemen will double his food intake. Both are in muscular shape but the difference is diet.

That shit is great if you can't afford a gym membership. You could still incorporate some body-weight exercises like these into your normal training tho.

But, I can imagine alot of you out of shape niggas will fail at this cuz you'll need to increase arm & grip strength for all of the upper body joints.

then how do you do them?

you keep your legs slightly bent and your back straight...

and what you are doing is just straightening your hips, maintaining your legs slightly bent (the angle of your knee joint does not change) and your back straight... as your bring the weight up and come to a vertical position

this works your back, butt, and hamstrings mostly

go in the mirror and do this (imagine you are holding a bar above your toes)...you will feel how the deadlift works...notice the difference between extending your legs to get vertical (wrong) and simply rotating your shoulders and letting your backside muscles bring you up to vertical

Go to the "kiddie park" and do PULL UPS, not chins PULL UPS on the FAT BARS. See if your forearms can support ya out of shape asses.

Cats aint even hip to how pull ups can create your back, and how wrapping towels around the bar or doing them on fat bars will give you that terminator handshake

The pulls I speak of are basically forearm workouts, get your fucking popeye on!!!!!!!!!!

I totally understand what you are saying bro but you would be surprised. White folks like the new "it" thing and you may end up have a following with these type of workouts. If I were you and wanted to get a workout in the park, go early in the morning when it is basically no one in the park. If it is too odd for you, I can recommend some things that you can do in your house. In the end, it does'nt really matter where you work out, as long as you do work out.

Bodyweight exercises tare the best. You don't need weights. Gymnastics rarely lift and they build impressive physiques because of the ballistic type of excerse they do which is true strenght than just lifitng weights.

It just supported my assertion that all that calisthetic bullshit is pretty, but it's not the end-all be-all indicator of strength. Give me a barbell, dumbbell, and plates any fucking day and I'll pump out more prodigous numbers.

And they lost a huge number of potential clientele with that ignorant "hood shit". Motherfuckers need to be smarter. If they came across a little bit more presentable in the vid, they could be raking in dough teaching this shit to gullible white people.

Gymnasts don't do that much lifting and they are powerful as shit and can lift heavy loads. Perhaps your partner isn't used to lifting which is a different type of exercise. He may have had a little anxiety which is common when lifting heavy weights.

You can tell some of the dudes HIT THE GYM AND USE WEIGHTS..... They'res NO WAY IN HELL you can get as big as some of those dudes because of the simple fact the body just gets to a certain size if you just use your OWN body weight.... Genetics.... so I watched this shit a couple months ago and got hype. took my son to the park so he could play and I figured it looked easy enuff, needless to say my arms were hurting(not sore) for a fuckin week. guess I'll stay wit the liftin weights, but that shit take a lot of raw strength

the dude at the begining of part 3 is the most professional one..... only way u gonna sell this hood rat shyt....but that is kool shyt..... and yeah they have to hit weights..... even if u are doin 1000 push ups and dips u aint gettin that big
