So HGH is safe to take? Isn't that the stuff that Slyvester Stallone was busted with having? There are no bad side effects or dangers like other types of steroids?

So HGH is safe to take? Isn't that the stuff that Slyvester Stallone was busted with having? There are no bad side effects or dangers like other types of steroids?
Everybody has HGH. It's HUMAN growth hormone. It's used to treat many diseases.
http://www.byrdaesthetic.com/human-growth-hormone-atlanta.htm
Human Growth Hormone (hGH) is the most abundant hormone made by the pituitary. Cells in the pituitary, known as somatotropes, produce hGH and release it into the bloodstream, where it is absorbed by the liver and converted into various other growth factors. In childhood hGH is responsible for growth but as we get older its function is primarily that of healing or repairing tissues. Human Growth Hormone regulates the body's metabolism of proteins, electrolytes, carbohydrates, and controls how the body uses fats.
As is true with all other hormones, hGH levels decline with age. After the age of 30 levels begin to decline at a rate of 14% per decade. Between the ages of 20 to 70, Growth Hormone levels fall by more than 75%. Typically as we age lean body mass diminishes while fat stores increase. In fact, muscle mass may decrease by as much as 30% while fat may increase as much as 50%. Growth Hormone deficiency is also associated with decrease in bone density, reduction in skin thickness, reduction in a sense of well-being, slowing of the rate of wound healing, lessening of immune responsiveness, increase in LDL-cholesterol, increase in arteriosclerosis, increase in hospitalization rate and sick days from work, and reduction in aerobic capacity.
Various studies published since 1990 have shown that hGH can:
Decrease the percentage of body fat while increasing lean muscle mass by stimulating the body's ability to increase protein synthesis.
Increase bone mass, reversing damage that leads to osteoporosis.
Reverse the degeneration of neurological functions.
Improve cardiac function.
Improve skin tone, thickness, and elasticity.
Improve pulmonary functions.
Improve the functioning of the immune system.
Improve kidney function.
Improve exercise and aerobic capacity and endurance.
Help wounds heal faster.
Improve cartilage synthesis for stronger joints.
Reverse the normal, age-related shrinkage of organs like the liver and spleen.
Increase basal body temperature rates.
Decrease levels of cholesterol.
Stimulate the body's ability to transport and absorb amino acids and other essential nutrients.
Affect the endocrine glands and influence growth.
Rejuvenate sex drive. For those who take hGH on a regular basis, research has reported a wide variety of long-term benefits including: improved general well-being; higher energy levels; more positive emotional outlook; the ability to sleep better; better body composition; a more efficient metabolism; and a reduction of days spent in the hospital or missed from work.
What to expect with treatment
Benefits are gradually achieved over 6 to 12 months after restoring Growth Hormone levels in older patients to normal levels for a healthy young adult. Benefits may continue to increase for up to 18 months or more after beginning therapy. If therapy is stopped, body tissues slowly return to their original state and speed of aging, i.e. to the state they would be in if hGH was never used. Some slowing of the aging process experienced during use may be retained but there is no withdrawal and no rebound - just a slow return close to an untreated state over several months.
Sequence of improvements with replacement of hGH by injection reported in medical literature are described below:
Month 1: Improved stamina, better and sounder sleep, more optimistic attitude, and an increase in energy.
Month 2: Improved muscle tone, enhanced sexual function, improved nail growth, improved skin tone, better digestion, increase in strength and beginning of weight loss.
Month 3: Improved mental processes, muscle size increase, increase in sexual desire, greater body flexibility.
Month 4: General heightening of the first three results.
Month 5: Impressive weight loss and reduction in inches (greater body mass with reduction in adipose tissue), improved and thickened skin, greater skin elasticity, and improve hair appearance (i.e. healthier looking hair).
Month 6: Greatly reduced cellulite, improved eyesight, better emotional stability, and stronger immune system with greater resistance to colds and flu, reduction in joint pain and soreness, greater exercise tolerance, lowered LDL-cholesterol and triglycerides, and improved heart rate. Individual improvement and results may differ.

Only abuse causes side effects in HGH and steroids, its a big myth that they are deadly when used right, that is why the FDA and DEA dindt want them outlawed when the first bush did it(even though HGH isnt on the list)
As with faith........well alot of stars take the shortcuts, but at least she didnt get her stomach cut out like others, HGH, steroids are nothing new to stars, but they do so under strict supervision. Shorts cycles and strict diets and workouts are in order, but it still takes focus on being in shape...................most people do not have that.

Everybody has HGH. It's HUMAN growth hormone. It's used to treat many diseases.
Thanks for the info. I know HGH is in our bodies, but so are other hormones, etc. that someone makes a synthetic supplement for and it can be dangerous (i.e. hormone replacement therapy in women has caused a higher incidence of breast cancer).
I see all the positives you listed, but I'd like to know the side effects. I'm going to google right now to see what I can find out.
The most common side effect of the excess use of HGH is acromegaly. This is a medical condition that begins with the overgrowth of facial bone and connective tissue, leading to a changed appearance due to protruding jaw and eyebrow bones. This condition also leads to an abnormal growth of the hands and feet with an increased growth of hair all over the body. Contrary to increasing your life, this condition will shorten life expectancy considerably.
Mentioned here are just some of the known side effects of the undue use of HGH.
-- Acromegaly (as described in detail above)
-- Premature death (in case of acromegaly)
-- Heart enlargement (due to prolonged use of HGH. Can't be reversed)
-- Low blood sugar with risk of going into a diabetic coma
-- Excessive hair growth all over the body
-- Excessive water retention
-- Liver damage
-- Thyroid damage
HGH from reputed manufacturers are safe if used under proper supervision, but they come with a small disadvantage; they are expensive. Many who take HGH without supervision buy spurious products that come at a lower price. The side effects of indiscriminate use of HGH is bad, and it just gets worse when counterfeit products are used.
****************************
Okay, I'm confused. So why is Mary J. Blige and some others on that list? Is it for HGH use? HGH use doesn't sound anymore horrible than other drugs. I've read worse side effects with the drugs that are advertised on TV.
I'm not a fan of taking any pills at all---I just believe in a good diet and exercise to achieve results, but from what I can see, HGH is not bad to take.

I don't have a thyroid. So I am missing thyroid hormone and taking a synthetic version. Why? Because it's essential for living.
So as we age and HGH levels decline, which causes a number or problems including an increase in the propensity for disease, less energy, lower metabolism levels, why not add what is missing in your body?
Of course anything you overdo isn't good for you.
If I double dose on my thyroid hormone, I could suffer a heart attack, my hair could fall out, my skin would be incredibly dry, etc.
But taken in the right doses, getting the HGH that you're losing, IMO, is a bio-chemical fountain of youth.
