now gimme some of your protein smoothie recipes.
mine is this:
12 0Z of water
1 peeled FROZEN banana
2 scoops of whey protein powder
1/2 cup of frozen strawberries, OR frozen blueberries, OR one fresh orange or mango
this thing is SO DAMN good once it's made, i actually look forward to drinking it. it's also filling, so i don't feel hungry for 3 hours.
i do this 3 times a day for an extra 153 grams of protein.
i know some of you all have some good recipes of your own, so help a brother out!

- 2 bananas diced up
- 1 large orange diced up
- 2 cups of low-fat soy
- 1 quick dash of cranberry juice (25ml or less)
- Approx. 2 cups of frozen fruit blend (peaches / grapes / blueberries / strawberries / pineapple, etc. I look forward to fruit being in season and stocking up on a ton of fruit in the spring/summer. Right now I pick up a 2.75KG bag of unsweetened frozen fruit mix)
- 0.75 - 1 cup of health oats (i.e. - stuff like a medley of flax seeds / oat / wheat bran / quinoa / rye flakes, etc.)
Throw it into a blender with 1.5 - 2L capacity or so ... let it blend up nicely and you're good to go.

Acai is fantastic- you can buy it yourself frozen unsweetened in small packs at the Whole Foods with the other frozen berries. If you are watching calories, steer clear of the Acai dessert kind packaged like ice cream (no dairy in it though)- its way too good!
