I just found 2 containers of protein in my closet that I bought a while ago and noticed that they are past their expiration dates. Is there any harm in using them to make shakes? It would be a shame to waste all of that protein.

I'll like to know about this also.

Throw it away. After the expiration date expires, the powder inside loses it biological value.

Good question...had the same thing happen to me recently also. While on topic...what's a good protein powder for someone trying to lose weight and gain muscle. I used to like the original Met Rx in the envelopes long ago.

One thing that I'll share real with the board is once you open protein powder, you need to drink it in about 90 days. The fresher the better. Man, listen, I personally use this protein powder called PRO-NOS. I drink it twice a day, and I love it. It's suppose to help you trim belly fat, but like with me, it's really keeping me lean. Getting lean has to do with how you workout too.

Like I'll squat 225, rest 1 minute, do it again. I do 3 sets of 12 reps in like 5-6 minutes. Same on the bench, 225 for 12, rest 1 minute, do it again.

It cost $40, but my secret source says that T.O. ( Terrall Owens) drinks this brand. Gets it shipped to the house direct from the company. Most NFL players I know fuck with MRI products, that's real talk.

Thanx Cameo...but I mess with IsoPure. A brother is lactose intolerant.

yup it does, usually it gets a funny smell after a few months. Or at least I notice it. Take into consideration that moisture (humidity) could mess with its biological compisition over time.
