Trying to lose my stomach. I weigh about 170, 5'8". I want to develop some abs. How can i go about doing that. Sit ups? Running? Should i invest in a treadmill (dont have much time to go to a gym, i work and have two kids) I dont eat much, at least i dont think so. I eat either a muffin or egg and sausage sandwich for breakfast. Then for lunch, i may have a pizza or sometimes nothing. And then dinner. I dont eat junk food or candy. I may eat some chips or cookies once in a while. And I also drink a lot of milk. What would yall suggest? Thanks.

Foods That Boost Metabolism
http://metabolism.health-choices-net.com/foods-that-boost-metabolism.html
Finding foods that boost metabolism is relatively easy with the preponderance of scientific studies that over the years have researched the affects of food on a person’s metabolism. Even with the science that proves the relationship between food and metabolism there are still many people who do not believe that diet when combined with an exercise program can boost metabolism. Some of the problem lies with the exercise market itself. Many of the programs tout how well they work but do nothing when it comes to mentioning diet as part of an overall healthy body.
One theory that has come about in recent years is the idea of foods that boost metabolism and also are referred to as negative calorie foods. These foods, once ingested, actually require more calories to digest than are taken in by the food itself. So for example, a food item that has 90 calories in it but it takes 110 calories to digest it, then just by eating that food item the body will burn an extra 20 calories. While this may sound unbelievable, it is believed that many healthy natural and lean foods help to boost metabolism in this manner.
Fruits and vegetables are the known foods that help boost metabolism. The fruit that is known best for boosting metabolism is the grapefruit. There is a whole diet built around eating grapefruit that is popular some years and then fades away for awhile. It’s probably not a good idea to eat only grapefruit because the body relies on many different foods to replenish the nutrients it needs. The theory behind the negative calorie diet is that most of the foods that are considered to do this are high in fiber. Fiber is more difficult to break down during digestion and the body needs to burn extra calories to metabolize the food.
Whether or not these foods that boost metabolism really help the body burn more calories then they contain is open to debate. But the fact is these foods are all very healthy and will help anyone trying to boost their metabolism and loose weight.

its one thing to be healthy and workout regularly. but if your trying to target your abs drop the pizza. fast. its dough and cheese. you do the math
not eating much is also bad. your body stores fat cause it thinks your not going to feed it. buy some protein bars for snacks. you dont need to have meals but a quick bar and a protein shake can help speed up metabolism.
milk. i switched to lowfat and 1% milk a while ago. whole milk has fat that you need from time to time. but a lot of milk is a lot of fat.
if your only problem is your abs and everything else your happy with.
then i suggest more water. more cardio (bike, running, eliptical, sit ups, crunches etc). less fat from foods and milk. CLA also helps. alot of people debate and ask about cla. the thing i noticed about cla is it only helps when your body fat percentage is lower than 16%. i have seen people try it with no results but they were 17% bfp and above. those that swear by it are under 15% bfp. so get your BFP and see if cla is right for you.
the thing about abs also is. genetics. if your parents didnt have abs dont be surprised if you have to work harder for them or see little results. genetics is a big factor in how your body shapes out.
