Looking at the video I can understand both sides. I can see why a cop would shoot in that situation but here is my issue.
The cops put themselves in a position where the only option was to use lethal force. It is not illogical for someone to weak up stunned by lights and guns in their face where their fight or flight reflex may take over and the first reflex would be to grab the gun or jump
They could have handled this differently in which they didn’t put themselves in such danger to where they had to use lethal force

They could have handled this differently but they didn’t because that way would’ve result in them just waking the young fellow up. letting him know a a call was received about someone sleeping in the parking lot. That call might’ve lead to a arrest for a outstanding warrant or something but that wasn’t the motive. It’s was time for someone on the force to get strips. [/QUOTE]
