That would be a pain to track thou. Plus if their job is to talk for 8 to 12 hours, it's not crazy to provide water.
To be fair to Joe, I believe he's mentioned Ish consuming alot of water before. The thing is Joe may have done it in a joking manner. The reaction we are seeing is what happens when you aren't direct. They don't view Joe as thier boss as much as a friend. Joe can't outsource to Ian to handle cast issues and expect respect as a leader. Slightly off topic, but Ish doesn't seem to be dependent on the pod as a main source of income like everyone else, so he'll buck the system more.
I would just provide everyone 3 to 4 a day. Alternatively, buy a cheaper brand of water. If they drink it cool. If not, you've provided water for them and they can buy their preference.

I agree, but if people are taking advantage Deer Park would be all they get.
The other problem is Joe likes to appear to have money instead of giving off a respect for money he's earned. Some of that may be for the pod, but im sure his friends feel like how can you call people broke and cry over a water expense. Like it or not people don't respect your money like it's their own. If you act like money is nothing, the people around you are going to behave the same or worse.
