Is a Wii Worth getting?

I picked one up for my kid last week. If you really want one all you need to do is check the weekly ads to see if they will have them in stock. If they do just go to the store a few hours before they open on sunday and get in line. The BB I went to got 23 in with the ad saying a minunm of 16 per store, I was #2 in line.

Man, that thing is a P.O.S. You could've gotten the Wii Zapper w/ the Link's Crossbow Training game for the same price...and had more accurate aim.

I got it.... that that game is the shit....

it is fun as hell to play condiering the last time i played mario brothers anything was mb3 the grapics are crazy.. and it is fun to play...

fuck yall serious ass gamers... wii is taken over...

side note.. wii sports.. tennis... the shit threw my arm out... and i am sore as shit.. playing that game...

I love my wii.. it was worth the 250 for me ... just for that aditive ass tennis game..

i bought it over the summer before the zapper was released

as for manageable, its pretty much the same as the zapper position wise


i've heard alot of people are making their own zapper like attachments in their basements.. if your handy like that its not a bad idea


all of them are fine, what needs to happen which i cant believe it hasnt yet, is that the buttons need to be programmable to your liking. shooting from the B button on the front of the gun is odd

but then again its probably harder to move the analog stick with your thumb on your trigger hand and shoot from the Z/C button too

Jagi, this is the only Pool game on Wii that is worth your time and it comes with 8 other games on the same disc. Pool Party is a piece of shit so don't even bother.

Ghost Squad lets you program your button config. I can use my Wii Zapper like a real gun with the trigger on the nunchuk. Shooting with the B button at first was retarded. And you'd be surprised how easy movement is with the analog while using Z/C as the trigger. It should only be used for games that have secondary fire...like a rifle with a grenade launcher on it. CoD4 needs to be on Wii!

my lil sis got one - until i played the new mario i didnt think it was worth it but that mario game is pretty fun. xbox and ps3 are getting 2 technical with their damn games. I just like to jump into the action not have to learn a bunch of button schemes and watch long ass cutscenes(assasins creed). YOull have 2 learn buttons but its fun. Whys does everyone keep saying wiis are sold out where i live(cali) i see them everyday. Never been a shortage except when they first came out! Try Costco

i loved the pool game but it wasnt the official full game

I had Trauma Center when it came out on Nintendo DS and got hooked. When it dropped for the Wii I had to have it. The one I posted is the second one for the Wii that just came out...with Co-op surgery play.

That Resident Evil looks good but I'm waiting for this to come out

This Gun looks like its only good for certain games but not Resident Evil. Resident Evil uses a NunChuck. This looks good for Wii Play Duck Hunt.

Also , all you need is Spray Paint and it looks like a Real Gun. I dont think Nintendo will co-sign for this.

Its got a plug in the bottom for a nunchuk. I don't see why it wouldn't work for games designed for the zapper as it has the same basic layout except without a nunchuk cradle. I think it will actually be better for Resident Evil as you can hold the nunchuk in the other hand and use that for reloading instead of having to use both as with the zapper.

if you are a hardcore or even casual gamer, you`ll like the wii at first but the impression wears off quick, but if you aren`t really into games, You`ll love that shit. I haven`t touched mine in 6 months, but my wifey and her parents can`t get enough of it....
