20 years ago today the greatest NBA battle royal ever. The Malace @ the Palace. Big Ben vs the Bully of the NBA. Ron at that time had hoe’d everyone in the league he gave a dirty shot to.



Then he met Ben. I can’t even say he was doing it to get in Ben Head to get him kicked out the game like D-Rodman would do, cuz the game was already over. Think he was trying to make a statement to Ben & assumed he was a gentle giant then got his head pushed back like a pin ball. Then Ron said I rather fight these white boys instead.

We need to go on and make and make November 19th a BGOL day of reverence. A holy day, if you will. Malice at the Palace is still my single greatest live sports moment of all time. That's shit was crazy. I believe it should be celebrated every year.

I remember and it was one of those times where the fans got that work from 6+ foot motherfuckers and that's just what it was.

I loved the fact that the crowd still tossed their drinks on the whole team as they exited....as if to say "You big dudes didn't do shit"

Them cac's labled em "Thugs" but in basketball,it's not always pretty and dudes are going to settle things how they settle em and that's from the blacktop to the hardwood....the coaches,the players,the fans,the owners and whoever else gets pissed off.
