I really don't like how the NFL is trying to devalue the running back position. Derrick Henry would have been a top 5 pick like 10 years ago. They compared him to Von Miller they had about the exact same numbers.

I just hope he don't turn into Anquan Boldin, running in the 4.7 range.

Yeah hopefully it's at least a 4.6 but running at his pro day it should be faster. Boldin been balling on niggas a long time with that 4.7 tho. I just want the Cowboys to get ballers. Look at the damn film and evaluate can these dudes play. That's all I want.

DAMN Nkemdiche (dude who jumped out the window off that synthetic weed shit), just dimed on his own teammate. Basically said the potential #1 draft pick was in the room with the six rolled up joints.

DAMN HOMIE, "when you get jammed up don't mention my name"

Nkemdiche explains hotel-window fall, says Tunsil was present

INDIANAPOLIS -- Robert Nkemdiche did his best on Friday to explain his bizarre December fall from a hotel room in Atlanta. The fall left him hospitalized and eventually charged with marijuana possession, but his answers during his press conference at the NFL Scouting Combine only left more questions.

Including one for potential No. 1 overall draft pick Laremy Tunsil.

Nkemdiche, the former Ole Miss defensive lineman, admitted he was drunk at the time of the fall, but denied that marijuana discovered in the hotel room by police belonged to him. He also said his Rebels teammate, Tunsil, was among those at the hotel room, but did not say whether the marijuana belonged to Tunsil.

"There were more people in my room. The hotel was under my name, and nobody wanted to take the fall," Nkemdiche said.

As for the fall itself, Nkemdiche said he's answered plenty of questions from NFL clubs about the incident.

"I told them the truth. It was a rash decision by me. Uncharacteristic and not who I am," said Nkemdiche, himself a presumptive first-round draft pick. "That's not what I stand for, that's not what my family stands for. It was embarrassing for me, my whole family, the whole Ole Miss family. (I told NFL teams) that's not the kind of player they're getting.

"I was drinking. I was drunk."

Nkemdiche denied he was under the influence of marijuana or any other drugs.

Yet, Nkemdiche's meeting with reporters took another bad turn when he said "the media has done a tarnish to my name," suggesting that perception about his character isn't of his own doing. Challenged on that by a follow-up question, Nkemdiche walked back the remark.

Not surprisingly, he said the majority of questions he's drawn from NFL clubs have been character-related. He was suspended for the Sugar Bowl after the incident.

Though Nkemdiche possesses prolific talent, character isn't the only question NFL clubs have about him. He was also inconsistent at times with his effort. NFL Media draft expert Mike Mayock has said Nkemdiche could have been considered for the No. 1 overall pick were it not for concerns about character and on-field consistency.

"There were times I didn't finish. Times I was lazy on some plays," Nkemdiche said.

NFL Media mock drafts project Nkemdiche to be chosen as early as No. 19 overall to the Buffalo Bills, or as late as No. 26 overall to the Seattle Seahawks. The Washington Redskins -- the team analyst Daniel Jeremiah currently projects as Nkemdiche's landing spot (No. 21 overall) -- were the first NFL club to conduct a formal interview with him at the combine.

Ohio State's Cardale Jones done at NFL scouting combine after hamstring injury

INDIANAPOLIS — The 2016 NFL scouting combine is pretty much over for Ohio State quarterbackCardale Jones, who suffered a hamstring injury on his second 40-yard dash attempt.

According to various media reports, the 6-foot-5, 253-pound Jones will not continue testing or throwing at the combine after coming up lame at the end of what was unofficially clocked as a 4.85-second 40 on Saturday. On his first 40 attempt, Jones ran an unofficial 4.83.

[Follow Yahoo Sports draft expert Eric Edholm on Facebook and Twitter]

J.T. Barrett and flourishing down the stretch. Jones considered declaring for the draft a year ago but returned to Ohio State, only to be replaced by Barrett midseason.

Jones stands as a wild card in a muddled quarterback group, and he had a chance to boost his stock with strong combine and pro day performances. Now there is some doubt about his ability to do that.

Bosa slower than expected and looks stiff

Stay away Cowboys

I don't know if he will be a "bust" but he isn't a game changer you pick at 4

Yeah I'm not saying he won't be a solid player just not a guy you want to take at 4

I would be very happy with Ramsey

They would be fools to pick that kid at #4.

If you're going to take a defender get one of those stout run stoppers from Alabama, Shaq Lawson or a db.

The hype for QB Carson Wentz is just insane

:hmm::hmm::hmm:

Dude is pretty solid, if you think about it most starting qbs came from smaller programs or little notoriety. :dunno: can't call it if he will be solid in the nfl, but I think he might get the job done, have to bring him along low

DAMN, I hate these coaches that don't tell these young man the truth. You win the national championship, take your ass to the NFL PERIOD.!!!!!

probably Was promised the starting qb and that's why he came back, seemed like a good decision, but now it seems bad since he lost his job

Looking at all secondary

Robert Nkemdiche

Jalen Ramsey

Vernon Hargreaves

Roberts a DT sir

He didn't want to run it I think his time is gonna be average he isn't a speed guy he waiting till his pro day where the times are always faster

Either way he a baller fuck a 40 time

Dude just makes plays he can get around when he needs to

I just hope he don't turn into Anquan Boldin, running in the 4.7 range.

Dude balls regardless of the 40 time, he should hope to be that good

He is, I should say I'm looking at majority secondary but I still got my eye on Robert. Mack could use the help on the line and with Aldon Smith gone, he'd be a good fit. Also checking for Eli Apple.

Just following Alabama players . Henry was off the chains Drake was solid.Regardless they still consider ezikiel Elliot ahead of Henry.... Oh well I guess. Besides Elliot I'm pessimistic about the other OSU players. Barret, Jones, and Bosa been uninspiring. Two auburn players stunk the joint up too in Barber and Duke Williams. Hope Barber can make a practice squad or something but Williams a nutcase he screwed his opportunity away.I still believe Tunsil will be the number 1 pick regardless. Henry be a great fit for the cowboys even tho can't stand em.Don't know what the packers can do.... Hope Reggie Ragland is available and they go after him.

Cant wait to get home and check out the dbs...always my favourite day. This year got a lot of players i would love to take. Ramsey ( a pipe dream). Vonn bell, karl joseph, mackensie alexander, sua cravens, jeremy cash etc.

One kid i wanna see perform is miles killebrew. 6'2..219lbs ok in coverage but That kid puts EVERYTHING into his tackles with textbook form..everytime he hits somebody they go down hard.
