We've learned thru time that it doesn't really take heavy winds to cause a lot of damage....but heavy rains always will lead to flooding....which causes more damage.
So far not showing a lot of significance, but we’ll know more in the come days.

The minimum low is 1001 which is a weak tropical storm or depression. Plus there is no cold front that provided Helene with a lot of energy and moisture content. The GFS isn’t as aggressive with this one as it was with Helene.
