I was up around 3AM and it was raining pretty hard. I could hear an owl making noise, which is something that I never hear. It was pretty eerie.
Definitely is a weird sound
I remember when I went through hurricane Andrew and the minor hurricanes that hit South Florida I heard that same noise. It is a little creepy.

Looking like landfall is Between Lake Charles and LafayetteThis storm should be named at the 11am update.
It looks good already. We can expect this storm to go through rapid intensification.
Models usually have a left-hand bias. So, the track may be a little further to the east.
If that’s the case, it’s will follow Ida’s path

Man it crazy how y’all( should be saying we
) always having issues with water. Years ago, when passing thru Georgia, the lakes and creeks with be dry as hell.Those no watering you grass or washing your car statements, took the cake for me.
