2025 Chicago Bears Off Season Thread

but from what I heard it was three people when he was hired

It was Jim Caldwell, Eberfailure and someone else....

and he had to pick between those three. This might be someone trying to cover for themselves.
The 3rd person was Dan Quinn and at the time most people figured that it was going to be Eberflus or Quinn.
It may be Polian trying to take the stench off himself since he led the interview process which included many others like Doug Pederson. Same guy who said teams need to not even consider Lamar Jackson as a QB

As much of a stumblefuck as George McCaskey is, I read recently that he favored Caldwell. Might actually have been the smarter choice. What the fuck was Poles thinking when he hired Eberflush.

Alex Brown brought this up. Eberfailure is a defensive coach. He should have wanted to kick the field goal, so he could have schemed stopping Denver.

but the way he did it, it wasn't on him as much. It's on Getsy for that fourth down play

We blitzed?

I was wondering why we didn't blitz more since we're getting no pressure

Let's see what happens with Eberfailure and Getsy the second half. I'm scared to watch.
Feels like when you’ve been getting killed all night with bad bids in spades but are finally up 6-0 and just know you’re about to run a Boston but there’s still 7 books outstanding………

Getsy nutting up AGAIN with the 2nd half play calling wtf. :smh:
