So you think if Travis had been there for FSU that BAMA still would have gotten in? The committee said why but you're really saying they're lying..lol

Where did I say they were lying? You see, your problem is you have a predetermined argument and you're trying to bend the facts to fit it.

That dog don't hunt.

On another note - What if? What if? What if? What if?
That's a game that goes on forever so the only way to approach it is not to start. Deal with facts at hand not what ifs.

If you carefully read what I wrote and try not being so emo you'll see I'm dealing strictly with facts.

lol.....so you saying the acc was better? sec got 6 schools in the top 25. 3 in the top 10. acc got 3 in the top 25. fsu best win was lsu which actually helped their overall opponent record. their overall opponent record was 67-76 ....fsu was the only team of the 8 powerhouses with a overall losing record. their schedule was trash

Rankings are subjective. Head to head the ACC was 6-4 against the SEC this year. I'm not sure what other metric you can use.

I agree that the SEC is normally the best conference but that wasn't the case this year. Almighty Bama got beat by 10 at home against the Big 12 champ.

We can't compare conferences without getting into the subjective. Do you judge a conference by it's best teams or it's worse?

For example...

Louisville was the 2nd best team in the ACC this year.

Louisville got beat by Kentucky, a team Georgia blew out 51-13 and Alabama blew out 49-21.

Louisville is maybe the 4th or 5th best team in the SEC.

You have to use an objective metric for comparison.

If I want to argue that the SEC is the better conference between the two, I have to use some objective metris to prove my point, otherwise it is just my opinion. My argument is the that the ACC was a better conference this year. I used head to head matchups to justify this argument.

it was the fact Georgia was number 1 practically all year. I don’t think any team hasn’t looked suspect at some point this season. Bama is a much better team then they were week 2 they weren’t even set at a quarterback. Jalen Milroe went from getting benched to getting Heisman votes. Texas hasn’t faced a good team besides Oklahoma since the Bama game and they loss :dunno:
Rewatch last week's Iron Bowl :dunno:

I hear you and I did use an objective metric.

The 2nd best ACC team got beat at home by an average SEC team. Therefore the top of the SEC is better then the top of ACC.

That didnt want that smoke.
As a Michigan fan, I'm not thrilled to draw Bama. Especially after the last two times we played them. And especially given Harbaugh's recent bowl game preps.

With that said if we want to win a chip we gotta go through whoever and get over the hump.

Michigan gonna shut Bama down. As much as the rest of college football hate to admit it, Michigan's defense is legit. The only team built to beat Michigan is Texas.
Our D is really good this year. It's gonna come down to our DL vs their OL, and they've pushed us around in the recent past. Our offense has regressed though.

Should be a good game. LOVE that it's in the Rose Bowl.

They say you get a million or two in NIL as a QB :smh:
Yep… you heard absolutely correct too

When I heard what A player told me peeps what it would take for him to come visit.

Wasn’t no fucking 5 thousand dollars either and he was already committed to another a school.
He probably was a 6 hours drive away….right down the road…

The problem now is some of Florida State's star players are sitting out the bowl game. And both teams have lost some to the portal. This game may not mean anything.
Yep, I knew this would happen, and I don't blame them. You put in all that work to play for a national championship. Now you might as well start getting ready for the draft or hit the portal, players from Georgia will probably do the same.

Brotha this fucking portal is really the wild Wild West.

Years ago when some coaches was complaining about it, folks thought they were hating but in reality what they expressed is 2023…

Yeah man, that shit is crazy. Teams are not going to be the same from year to year so if you have a chance for a national championship you better win it when you can. I was pissed Payton from FSU is in the portal, he was a baller for us. Hate to see him go.

Man when I saw Cam Ward in the portal I was like wtf.
I don’t know many players but I know of him. I think it was said he could be a top 10 qb next year…

Folks wondering if Arch Manning gonna enter and leave Texas.

I think your top tier/elite school gonna be aight…

But the next tier can make things shake with the portal and them
Lower schools get two of three solid starters at key positions
