I think the main point he mentioned is that the vortex is a phenomena that returned to the north after a few weeks. But what I am gathering is that we would see more cold weather outbreaks if the polar jet was to weaken during the winter.

Indeed, this is uncharted territory. Most marine life is going to go a little deeper into the water fishing. May be harder to do in most parts of the Atlantic right now. Again, this is the shit they spoke about in movies and I didn’t think would happen until 2050 or 2060 but it’s happening now
