Man they basically perp walked Eberflus.
He earned every escorted step out of the building with his coaching fecklessness. The team should be in the playoff hunt instead we are currently looking at another top ten pick. I wouldn't even let him pack his office up. Mail that shit to him and open the windows to rid it is his loser cowardly stench.

On a positive note, let’s celebrate the black man of the day, Thomas Brown!

In 2 1/2 weeks, he’s gone from:

-Passing game coordinator, to

-Offensive Coordinator, to

-Interim HNIC

And took over for not one, but TWO CACs!

Today, we salute YOU, Thomas Brown!
If Brown gets the HC job going forward and wins a Super Bowl with Bears, the city is his.

The crazy shit is they've been losers for decades, and people would be happy for them, but you have faggots like @Thegooch who don't even know how to handle minimum success...make fans root against them. You would think they were the Chiefs with the way that faggot acts...I can't imagine when he finally loses his virginity.

Naaaa. Fuck them Lions fans. Cause as soon as they squad got good. They turned into a bunch Beeiiis, or whatever dudes name was. Annoying as fuck. Like can't your team be good and you fucks not turn into that annoying kid talking bout how dope his new Sega is in 93 like we aint been had 1 for 2 years???
We're sorry grumpy Bare.

I do recall the Bares/Packers organizations talking various amounts of shit about the division during the off-season. Is Poles still not giving the division back or are division titles ain't worth banners like in GB?

Now you want to play victim??

Pope Gooch tried to warn you about this whole situation.

Caleb needed a lot of coaching. Anyone who has ever watched USC tape Caleb could have told you his passion for 50 yard check downs.

McNabb is his ceiling if the Bears don't ruin him before he bails to the Rams when Stafford retires.

Bears fans Blamed Fields, Montgomery, and Mooney. Roquan Smith too. Turned on loyal players just to have the entire locker room call for your coaches head.

Told you the coach was trash. Told you Caleb would get him fired.

Ain't shit wrong with clowning a fucking clown show. Because that's what the Bares are, a fucking joke.

If the last 6 humiliating losses with it ending in your head clown in charge coach getting fired in epic fashion don't humble your asses, nothing will.

Don't nobody like losing and you were NEVER going to like losing to the Lions in humiliating fashion like you have in Detroit 2 consecutive years and for years to come.

Noticed how Lions fans show a little respect for the team we actually dethroned for the division title. Vikes play classy unlike the Bares.

I won't even get into the blatant ref cheating for the Bares in the last game and over the years.

The NFL has done everything in its power to help you win and you still stink.

That shit is fucking hilarious and you will continue to be treated as the town fools until you show something other than being the NFL version of the pre WS Cubs.

@darth frosty

Are we confident that they'll hire the right person?

Very good question. The way they assessed their decision on OC between Kingsbury, Thomas Brown and Waldron
and not firing Eberflus. Also by not even interviewing Harbaugh or Ben Johnson. Have me skeptical as FUKK
on Poles search for a quality HC.

Poles fell victim to the Bears management of nepotism, when hiring key positions within the organization.
Never the best qualified but the guy on whom they like that wont be too intimidating with front management.

SHYT started when Buddy Ryan and Mike Ditka use to curse out all the McKaskeys when they would interfere with
the BEARS practice back in the late 70s and early 80's, Then after firing coach Lovie with a 10-6 record;
the limp-wristed McKaskeys & Ted Phillips hired their twins Phil Emery as GM and Trestman as HC,

Short answer is I'm dubious that they will hire the right person. Poles job is on the line here and he has shown that he is learning from his mistakes.
It's easy to want a leader of men type but you also have to consider the players and the system a new coach will want to run. Offense is relatively easy, the line needs to be upgraded on the interior anyway and we have weapons. Coaching competence can have the offense looking good or better in short order. On defense, going from a 4-3 to a 3-4 is a multi year build and the fan base nor management should have patience for that so your looking for a 4-3 DC. They need to be aggressive and Dennis Allen could be a good hire if the new HC wants it.

Eberflus was given every chance to succeed and he failed miserably each fucking time.

I'm not looking for them to hire the perfect person, I just want coaching competence. Basic competence and half time adjustments is what has Thomas Brown looking so good. He is just working with what he has. I doubt that he is well get hired full time but he is being given a shot. What he does with it is on him. It wouldn't surprise me if Brown makes the choice to look outside the organization difficult. It would be blind luck and typical Bears if it happened.

From The Athletic

For the Bears, it was a break from the past. The team had never fired an offensive coordinator during the season, either.

Players’ frustrations with Waldron had been bubbling since the summer. The new offensive coordinator changed the Bears’ run game, scrapping two years of progress under offensive line coach Chris Morgan. His decision to install a pure progression passing system — a challenging scheme even for veteran QBs — further complicated things for Williams. Players voiced concerns to their head coach at various times but rarely felt heard.

Kevin Warren wanted Waldron fired and Flus wanted him reassigned

Yep, I think Warren made the decision on Waldron and Flus and that makes me have even less confidence in Poles.

This shit with Waldron was coming from training camp.

Look, I know the 2 guys I'm gonna mention aren't Neal Anderson and Willie Gault, but I would like someone to ask why, despite all the "mouths to feed" at the skill positions, there was no way to get Khalil Herbert and Tyler Scott touches?"

Khalil Herbert plays for the Bengals....

On some real shit, is Swift that much better than Hebert?

Both aren't good blocking and that was Khalil's problem....but Swift isn't good

I understand it was basically because we missed out on Saquon and Jacobs, but Swift is overpaid for what he's brings.

He's more sudden than Herbert, but Herbert was more decisive hitting the creases and could take a hit. I thought KH had value in this offense. All 3 of them (incl. Johnson) brought something a little different. But on their own were incomplete.

I'm kinda hoping we draft a decent RB at some point in April. Jeantty is a pipe-dream, but wouldn't mind Kaleb Johnson from Iowa if he fell to us.
