Tubi, owned by Fox, and offers better selection of content compared to the 50 Cent channel.
I don't know anybody who watches tubi unless it's nude scenes because other than that, I don't see it being worth to watch.
I’m not referring to original content, but as far as the content they acquire from other providers, it’s actually superior to Amazon Prime. By the way, their rights to broadcast the Super Bowl should give you an indication of their significant role in this industry.

I don't see it being advertised on these bigger networks in commercials for them to have 80 million viewers.
Also, free content doesn't always mean quality.

If you do a search on Tubi, you will find movies streaming on Tubi that you can find on prime. You can find most of the DC movies from Justice league to Shazam to wonder woman you can also find movies like terminator roadhouse set it off bloodsport the list goes on. Like I said before I’m not talking about original content, but content that they get from third parties or content that is owned by Fox you will find it right on Tubi.
Makes sense but Im good on needing Tubi to stream anything unless I watch some sex scenes on there.
Super Bowl is literally the biggest event in anerican sports with 9 fig viewers , the fact it thought of tubi as one of the companies it wants their event to broadcast on is 1 of the biggest co-signs ever.. that’s like Michael Jackson at the height of his career tell his audience he’s a huge fan of some upcoming artist.. just mj saying that would have had people looking to hear your music cause mj said he was a fan.. just like the Super Bowl choosing tubi will literally have people looking through their catalog off curiosity cause nfl decide to collab with them

Well good for Tubi. IF they have a lot of viewers on there watching the Superbowl then Tubi could end up having the Superbowl every year on their network.
I see no problem with it, those other big production companies ran by CACs don't have no respect for black content.
Even better if the superbowl decided to use it.. other sports might want to jump on it.. baseball, basketball, hockey, tennis, golf, soccer, college, etc

In the beginning Fox, UPN and WB started out with programming focused/targeting Black audiences or raunchy series ( Married with Children, Happily Ever After, even the Simpsons to an extent). I'm thinking about it and the raunchy series likely targeted a certain segment of White people. Over time they stopped their Black shows or Black show blocks. For example, WB went from being known for its Black shows like the Wayans Brothers to basically DC comics channel. That and around the early 2000s reality shows started to take over because it was cheaper to produce. I remember even Cartoon Network started to do reality content or more game shows.
Bottom line Tubi will likely follow the same play. Build up the Network with Black people and possibly poor Whites and slowly phase out the shows for a new audience. To your point, I was surprised that they actually have a back catalog. Most people believe they only have hood Black movies as original content.

Tubi is better than Netflix and and it's free so modeling a network after Tubi wouldn't be a bad idea at all.
I cancelled Netflix and I fucks with Tubi now for a lot of movies I didn't know about or might of missed back in the day;Like Charles Bronson movies and some of them silly 80's joints that you won't see today being played.

The point was Tubi being known for a place to view Black content ( usually bad hood movies) similar to the early days of the networks I mentioned and the presence of Black shows drastically declining once the networks grew. It wasn't about what old shows/movies are currently available on Tubi which i referenced. It's also irrelevant considering most people don't mention/know this fact which i also already stated.Tubi's reputation is having bad movies.
Unless you disagree with A tv networks changing target audiences after gaining momentum with Black audiences or B Tubi potentially doing the samething as they grow, we don't have anything to discuss.
