"Accidentally sent the money to the wrong CashApp." Okay...
I hope that's the truth, but know that all transactions have an immutable recorded time stamp.

Youngin' is lucky an ass-whopping is not what she got for trying to skip the bill.
Fucking teens always want to test your gangsta and then whine when pressed.

Now i see why barbers and hairstylist don't want to do young folks hair because they don't have time for the games they like to play by not paying.

I get it, but as the stylist there are a few steps in between "pay me $X" and "now it's time to put hands on you and cut the braids out."

There's got to be at least 2 steps in between there. And during that time, a more mature or cooler willed person would've been able to avoid the fate she now faces.

people never think when they're mad, I understand the hairstylist frustration because that shit takes alot of work and hours doing hair that she deserved to get paid. Also these teens aren't dumb and are very smart should know better to pay for a service after a hairstylist is done. If the hairstylist was calm and collected, she could've handled the issue talking to the teen parents to let them know what happened to get the money from the parents or take them to court.

This seemed much worse until I read that the hairstylist is also a teenager.

Both are high school aged so the title of the article is pretty much click bait IMO.

I don't have a problem with her being charged but this is really just a dispute between two teenagers.

From the title I thought a grown ass woman that was significantly older put hands on her.

You have to pay for services, period. She probably didn't realize she was 15yr old.

I don't go to barbershops anymore but growing up I've seen barber fight barbers.barbers fight customers, barbers fight babymommas, barbers fight the police and all of that is apart of the barber's lifestyle....you on bullshit, bullshit will happen.

A lot of them n-word don't like to work or can't keep a steady 9-5 so they because barbers and clock in when they want or don't want.

I'm guessing people don't like the fee attached to the different stylist apps, but that makes payments easier. Also, I'm guessing they try to avoid paying taxes.

Before I started shaving, I made appointments through the Styleseat app and paid in advance. In the event i didn't show up or was late, I lost the deposit or the entire payment.

Ironically, didn't stop my barber from being late or backed up.

Operating a real business in that manner is simply not feasible. If I’m that uncomfortable dealing with the customer, I would prefer not to do business with them.

Yeah, once I read that the hairdresser was 18, it made more sense why she reacted like she did. Still doesn't excuse it though.

The irony is BLACK women are the most violent with each other.

We live in a very sectarian society. People have the most interactions of any sort with the people they live among and interact with the most. That's also the answer to why white on white crime is 90%. That violence being expressed by the hairdresser was just below the surface. That 15 year old girl just caught the wrath of it, is all. Far too many of us Black folks are raised in a culture of physical and psychological abuse as a form of punishment to deter us from getting killed or going to prison. You will learn to behave and not be a jackass or get your ass whooped. Unfortunately as adults some of us resort to violence against one another when words could have resolved an issue. The hairstylist could have taken the loss as a lesson and or made a deal with the girl to assist her until she paid off the debt.
