Playa... that sounds like a good idea but personally, i'd be wary of storing 16GB of stuff on one HDD. when it crashes you will lose a lost of stuff. I made the hard choice to go with smaller drives and spread my content over several disks. I lost everything once and won't let that happen again.
This is my backup. I have a 12TB drive about 70% full.
I'm fully aware of what happens if you have a drive crash on you. I had a 4TB drive crash - the only WD drive I've ever had crash. I had ALL my TV show series on it. The shield, the wire, The Jeffersons complete series, the Greatest American Hero complete series, Justified complete series, Game of Thrones complete series, Manimal (short-lived series about a man who could turn into animals), so many other complete series of shows that you can't find unless you buy them
Most of them were in damn good quality too.
Now I've got all my movies and TV series and comedy specials and sports (I have Jordan vs Len Bias game along with the entire Cavs 2016 Finals & The Last Dance and a bunch of anime.. I just need a backup drive and at $239 that was a damn good price
