So when's this shit dropping, fam?
They need to swap the DC movie folks with the DC animation folks. The DC animation folks are good said:Shit, I'd say that back when DC animation had both Bruce Timm and Dwanye McDuffie on board, they were dropping joints better than the Marvel's movie division.
sir, you know good writing when you see it...Shit, I'd say that back when DC animation had both Bruce Timm and Dwanye McDuffie on board, they were dropping joints better than the Marvel's movie division
You also forgot the millions of dollars in reshoots they're doing to "Suicide Squad" to make it a little lighter due to the bad BvS reviewsWTF are you doing DC?
Since the bad reviews of BvS, they released a deleted scene from BvS, moved up the blu ray director's cut release, dropped 2 Lego Batman trailers, and now this clip.
They doing everything they can to distract people from the 2nd week BvS numbers.
Suicide Squad is undergoing reshoots to add ‘humour and lightness’ into the film, according to reports.
The supervillain mash-up is the next film from DC’s canon following Zack Snyder’s Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, which garnered success at the box office but a not-so-pretty critical reception.
The Suicide Squad reshoots were first ordered following the incredibly positive response to the trailer, featuring Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody, that reportedly wasn’t really that representative of the final film.
According to birthmoviesdeath.com, a source claimed: ‘every joke in the movie is in that trailer.’
But don’t worry about it turning into a Marvel quip-fest, the reshoots are apparently aiming to increase the fun character moments and interactions, over a dose of zippy one-liners.
In the dark, dull shadow cast by Zack Snyder’s Batman V Superman – news of Suicide Squad perhaps aiming for something a little different sounds incredibly promising.
The film, directed by David Ayer, sees a colourful mash-up of DC villains all clubbing together, and stars Jared Leto as The Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn alongside Will Smith, Cara Delevingne and Jai Courtney.
Suicide Squad is set for release in cinemas on August 5th.[/QUOTE
As do you too! I totally agree that JLU had some of the best writing and episodes it was fantastic! There was an all-star group of writers:sir, you know good writing when you see it...
imo - when it was on, JLU had 2 seasons where it was the second best written show on TV including HBO... Only the Wire was better

Suicide Squad facing reshoots ‘to add humour’ following bad Batman V Superman reviews
The fight we were having in the BvS thread? Some the more darker corners of DC story telling where Batman becomes a killer? This is some of what I was referencing (including DK Returns). DC has went there before with Batman in some of their interpretations and those books were lauded for being ground breaking. But for some reason so many fan boys are shocked that Batman would eventually kill.
As do you too! I totally agree that JLU had some of the best writing and episodes it was fantastic! There was an all-star group of writers:
J.M. DeMatteis
Paul Dini
Andrew Kreisberg
Warren Ellis
Darwyn Cooke
Gail Simone
Geoff Johns
and the late great Dwayne McDuffie
Batman: The Animated Series set the bar from the beginning. And what I think is highly underrated, was the Superman: The Animated Series
I give you another underrated show... Static shock
Yes sir it was! I totally agree!I give you another underrated show... Static shock
I give you another underrated show... Static shock
That kills a lot of good shows. You know I just looked up the Character and I had no idea that the only reason Static Shock was cancelled was because his toys weren't selling... That's some bullshit.
yepThat kills a lot of good shows.
Add He-Man and Thundercats to that list too I believe.yep
Young Justice, and I think Legend of Korra too - both had strong to great ratings but the average age of most viewers was "too old"
originals on those had a lot of seasons - the reboots were garbage that even kids avoided so no surprise on poor toy salesAdd He-Man and Thundercats to that list too I believe.
