Canadians on BGOL (and those knowledgeable of Canadian affairs)-- I welcome and encourage your insight...
I set up a Google alert for Jagmeet Singh but I haven't read a single one. Did not know the debate was tonight or I'd have tried to get ready for it and watch. What did y'all think?
Trudeau is corrupt as fuck. Just look up SNC lavalin. Look at how Canada handled the Huawei situation. Let me put it to you like this. The US and China were going through a trade war. Canada had the opportunity to capitalize on this rift. Instead of asserting Canadian interest, Trudeau decided to have a high level Chinese executive arrested on Canadian soil. A simple phone call to her plane telling her to turn back would have avoided the international domino effect that was caused when she was arrested. His people did similar things with Saudi Arabia.....and no election reform. lol How about OK-ing the pipeline and at the same time claiming that climate change is greatest threat to Canada.
The worst thing though....is how he openly told the press that he was going to ask Trump to talk to China about the kidnapped Canadians. That shit was embarrassing.
I could go on and on.....
He is not a good politician.
The NDP is head and shoulders above the Liberal party when it comes to helping regular people.
For example: Bernie Sanders, AOC etc. would fit perfectly in the NDP.
The liberal party is like the democrats in the US. They are more or less centrists.
Here is the leader of the NDP responding to the Trudeau incident:
he now without a doubt has my vote
and this cat goes hard on racism...because he dealt with it.
I don’t care, I’m still voting for him... he’s way better than the other candidates
