Every year they use to show the miniseries and it was epic. I miss those days when we would watch certain classic movies annually.

When we were growing up we got Shaka Zulu, Roots and Later Malcolm X.

There hasn't been shit impactful to black culture as far as a major movie/series sense. The best we got was Black Panther but the Brown Hornet was more impactful for me lol.

Remember watching it with my parents as a younging....remember the main thing sticking out for me as a kid was the title scene that would come up before every commercial break....the spear flying across the screen under the Title with the sound effect of SHAKAAAAAAA!!!!!

definitely gonna rewatch it as a family when my kids get a little older
