"Dr. Susan Moore died today from COVID, but HOW she died is unacceptable. She posted a video to Facebook from an Indiana hospital days before her death about mistreatment. "This is how black people get killed when you send them home and they don't know how to fight for themselves"" - Cleavon_MD
"We lost another doctor today To COVID But this doctor was mistreated. Her symptoms were ignored, downplayed and dismissed. She posted a heartbreaking video begging her fellow doctors to help save her... She called the patient advocate... She called the chief medical officer..." - Dr. Carmen Brown

Well, the brother famous for performing the first successful open heart surgery died from the denial of performing the selfsame surgery. The afterworld must be amazing.

I've seen the headlines of this story but didn't want to click on it cause I know exactly where she's coming from with my own experiences with dealing with nurses and doctors that go out of their way to ignore you,do little things like not writing their names on the board when shift changes, assuming things they know nothing about like if you're allergic to something or not needing assistance or not and a lot of other things that are small but could be big depending the persons situation and if they have family and or can speak up for themselves or not.

It's an unwritten rule that no matter what doctors don't like to speak bad about other doctors to patients but off of the record I've had doctors tell me "He's terrible as a doctor, look for someone else...".Nurses on the other hand they talk about each other bad and the only time they get in trouble is when they fuck up in the log and medicine books or their such a problem that everyone hates them til they have to move em and this is where they could cause so much damage knowingly.H.I.P.A doesn't mean shit to them.

It's as if most don't want to be nurses,a lot of them do it cause their grandmother did it and it's a job where you can make a decent salary without to much difficulties as far as work/schooling and that's why it's dominated by white females and I'm starting to see more white males...anways

If you have anyone in a hospital....go visit them that could do more for them than anything and don't be scared to ask to speak to a charge nurse if you see anything, suspect anything or your family is complaining about something.

Didn't they do a survey where they actually found that medical students and actual doctors really think Black people can't feel pain and/or are lying when they say they are in pain.
For example, 58 percent of the study's general group said they believed that "blacks' skin is thicker than whites'." About 40 percent of first- and second-year medical students also thought that was true, as did 25 percent of residents --

Need to have your own hospitals. This is the result of integration. It’s foolish to put yourselves in the presence of people who has for 500 fucking years shown how much they hate blacks. And, you still put trust in them to this day. This is why I have no respect for the civil rights generation who fought for integration and not empowerment. They sent the future generations to the wolves. Now these are the results.

Question to the board.... What to do if something like this happens to a loved one? Let’s say you notice first hand that your loved one isn’t being properly cared for and they get 100 times worse while in the hospital with other ailments that they didn’t go in with and they die. What are some actions we can take?
