Completely different. Mookie isn't getting any extra money. He's just taking money out of his current yearly salary to get it after he retires. Bonilla's deal was a buyout and instead of getting that 5.9M lump sum, he agreed to take 1.2M every year for 25 years. So with interest he's going to 30M+. Also if Mookie gets traded the deferments end.
