Condolences to his family, and definitely surprised there weren't more casualties. The buildings along that stretch seem older ... I drive by there 5 days a week in East Vancouver going up the hill with the location to my left.

Thursday evening that stretch of road was closed down, and Friday they had sidewalk closed signs ...
