I had said when abortion got repealed that this is the end game for republicans. Getting rid of Birthright citizenship means that you have to be judged WORTHY of CITIZENSHIP. It also means without citizenship a lot of the protections you usually have you don't have anymore, especially voting.

Trump targeted the uneducated and the greedy classes. To make money, as per evidenced by the Fox News defamation case, greedy people will lie for money. Uneducated people don't have any critical thinking skills, so they don't know how to fact check anything.
