Since Trump claims Florida instead of New York he can't have Desantis as a running mate since they'd both be from the same state.
A cabinet position would be possible though.

TBH, knowing Trump, he'll probably dangle the prospect of VP in front of Desantis, then turn around and give it to someone else who's been more loyal.
