If the trend holds, this law should die its proverbial political death badly. This hasn't been a winning issue for Republicans in like 9 straight elections and it drives turnout like no other thing to vote for.
Has the ASVAB changed over the years? Because I know when I took it, "passing" it wasn't really that difficult. If you had any reasonable score at all, every branch of the military would be calling you on a semi-weekly basis. I didn't think failing it was even a thing that could happen.
