Mississippi, South Carolina, Alabama, Louisiana, and Georgia are some of the southern states controlled by MAGA Republicans.

These states have some of largest Black populations in the nation and they also have some of the greatest racial disparities and poverty rates.

These are the same states where the GOP denied working folks Medicaid expansion. The same states that are reducing funding for schools. The same states where Republicans Governors have opted out of summer federal food programs for poor children.

Sorry to disrupt your “sermon” Senator but as they often say… the people would much rather see you live that sermon than to just hear it.

Pro-tip: Maybe actually visit (and not just drive by) the communities you represent.
