You're onto something. But I have purposely neglected to mention it since I don't have an answer for why younger voters, melinnials in particular, don't vote on par with other age groups. When I see that start happening, then I'll start to get excited.
But to further the point,
@easy_b mentioned something that I had to go look up and research for myself because I was in disbelief. He said that we have lost 20M Boomers since 2016 aka Trump's largest voting block. It turns out he was correct.
I've seen Anthony Scaramucci say we've lost the same amount but since 2020 and have been replaced by Mellennials. I don't know about the first part but the second part has been backed up by this study:
As of July 1, 2019, Millennials have surpassed Baby Boomers as the United States' largest living adult generation.

Now the only trick is if we can mobilize these jokers to show up in the numbers that the 65+ age group has historically came out to vote then we'd be seeing supermajority type election nights for every Mid Term, General or Special elections. lol
