Government of the people for the people is the problem as Reagan state. Balance of branches of government broken on purpose (judiciary, legislative & executive). People's trust in democracy & each other broken. Divide & conquer. Now they fall for the oki doke, don't realize until it's too late that they got to unfuck themselves. But society never goes back to what it could have been because institutions irreparable.
Firing government employees is business strategy not just to cut cost, but to keep other employees destabilized & compliant.
Sad story...

What's crazy is that the character is actually valid. The whole point of the character was to show that white people, specifically poor white people, have more in common with black people than they do with rich white people. If poor white people really got that message, we could actually get some things done in this country. And if they weren't so busy being butthurt over the one thing they can criticize, they might be able to enjoy the sketch and the character.
