I agree with @Maxxam.
The more he invokes her name, the more he makes himself an easy target for the opposing side to pick him apart.

I watched both interviews and...
It sounds like he was cheating and she saw the text. She tried to grab his phone or grabbed it. Or fought over it and he got it back.
Somewhere between fighting over the phone or him picking her up and putting her back in the truck her finger got injured.
Doesn't really seem like a case that should've been prosecuted but that's just my opinion.

Its the history of violence plus alleged previous assaults that leaked during that made this a huge mess.

One where he allegedly hurt her and begged her not to go to the hospital because police could get involved.
She had texts of that interaction
The latest incident Majors called 911 and the officers instead asked the white woman if she felt safe with him and encouraged her to file charges if I'm not mistaken
If I was Jonathan Majors I would send someone to her new address..... with flowers.... for her grave.

I was under the impression that prosecutors and law enforcement were moving forward with this latest incident although she didn't.
But it definitely sounds like they have a history.
Even she wanted to back out it already went to far

There was no way to ever walk this back after even the smallest spark especially someone who appears historically unstable.

He never ever should have put his hands on any woman (but especially a white woman just saying)
And if he did?
That should have been the one and only time.
He's not innocent at all. His actions caused the incident and his actions caused the injured finger.
He didn't try to hurt her finger and the jury agreed, but him grabbing the phone or picking her up and putting her in the car caused that.
Now does that make him an abuser and woman beater?
No, no from that situation. And the situation is blown entirely out of proportion. The way that they're acting you'd think she was beaten bad an near death.
But one quick question...
If he didn't put hands on her, then how would he have gotten his phone back with more evidence of cheating on it?
