People who know Byron Donalds firsthand say he'll do and say anything to further his own ambitions. He was a staunch liberal, then turned conservative when he realized white folks in his district who wanted to shed their racist reputation would glom onto him if he, despite being black, would say and do everything they wanted done, especially working to preserve white privilege and supremacy.
Donalds is the kind of House Negro Malcolm warned us about. If he was alive during the time slaves were trying to flee their captors via the Underground Railroad Donalds would have been one those boot lickin' slaves like Stephen in the film Django and would have run and told massa when and where escape attempts were gonna happen. Donalds is not an Uncle Tom, he's worse. He is a Judas possessing no conviction only self-promotion.
