I’m not enough of a ole skool head to have goats but I definitely respect this shit and what Bobby Blue, James Brown and BB did on soul train
Also when Stevie was in Nola, that shit give me the chill when thinking about it.

i was looking for some of his older clips because I feel like his voice used to be even more powerful...but..
I suppose it's new for some, but not for those who know. Lots of artists had to fight with Gordy. Primarily over money/royalties.
There's no question Marvin was one of the great male R&B voices, but everybody has chest, throat, and head voices, nothing new here. Nor is overdubbing.
