That's exactly how it works in organized sports. The team is a unit. Where the head goes the tail is expected not far behind.
There are a lot worse things than praying unless the prayer is to ask God for a win. If so, that prayer ain't leaving the field , building, arena, whatever because if God were to answer it "he" would be dealing with the team's opponent unfairly. Imo it's ok with thank God after a win but not ask for it before. I'm glad Deion didn't.

That's some deeper shit. A lot of professional brothers and sisters who have to - or feel like they have to - code switch to be "professional". I do think this ain't the first time Prime has experienced that though. He ain't have to call that man out like that.
I don't know what code switch means, but all professionals regardless of race act one way when away from the job and another way in a working environment.
