The game has changed, and Miami is too small of a school to compete with the big-money programs now that paying players is legal. This is 2024 not the late 80s or the run they had in the early 2000s

When it was illegal to pay players, Miami had deep pockets. Now that everyone is on the same playing field, their boosters’ pockets don’t seem quite as deep.

First black player didn't hit the SEC until 1967, we don't acknowledge college football prior to black players being on the field...Side Note: I was at the Peach Bowl in 2005 and it was the longest game of my life lol. And our team got beat up by LSU in the tunnel smh...The LSU fans were nice as hell, though. Also went to a game in Baton Rouge before and the food at the tailgate was so fucking good !! Always liked LSU...

Actually Miami is all in on this NIL thing. And their coach is a beast in recruiting. We'll see if he can actually coach at a championship level though.
