To be fair, from the little I listened it does sound like she attempted to address this internally and no one cared. Per the norm, everyone acts like they don't have a clue when you make private issues public. The segment name thing came up during one of the shows, so i believe her story about mentioning it behind the scenes.
During the audition phase, it's no way you'd pick Loren over most of the candidates even Jess. Loren improved or got more comfortable after the auditions. From what i can recall, the gay guy (no disrespect can't recall his name) and Claudia Jordan seemed to fit well. I think either would have been better picks than Jess or Loren.
To me Jess getting pregnant wasn't a big deal. It's not uncommon for women to go out on leave after giving birth. It's not even legal to not hire a woman who you know is pregnant and potentially need to go out. She just stopped working hard in general after returning.for example, if you know you have a reading issue, get in early to get the topics/information and put your Jess with the Mess spin on it. The only outright issue with the pregnancy was Jess seemingly booking shows during her leave.
yeah claudia and that dude were really good. ...very informative. but they were famous and well established. i know jess maternity wasn't a big deal on the company side.....they got her back. it was a big deal for jess. cause i feel/think that she took that leave and didn't practice or put in the work for her main source of income. i agree with her booking shows, she's definitely been doing that and the show has brought her free publicity for her comedy as well as her acting. nothing wrong with that. but she got too much going on ...i think she need to slow down ...focus on her baby/family and the show. at times you can tell she's tired and stressed out and it finally came out
I mostly agree, but how can you show up for one job and not the other. I just think it's disrespectful. You were excused from work to take care of your child and bond. Not to take on work outside of iHeart. I understand her thought process, but it's not the best look. If you were on short-term disability and took another job, you'd be fired.
Clearly, I don't know if the radio personalities are more so contract workers or actually are Iheart employees. If they are more so contractors, they looked out by allowing her to take time off to begin with. Unless it was a part of her contract.

I liked Lauren immediately even during the audition process. She is not perfect. But seeing her current work I think what I didn't like about her - the ultra young dumb takes have disappeared and were an act she THOUGHT they wanted.
Her being informed smart articulate and fact checking suits her much better especially career wise. Envious is still shook about the fed case, Lenard is pathetic, Jess added good comedy a more mature female voice but nothing more. They NEED that young voice
