good video. He might be The Green Lantern in the new JLA movie. Anyway, I'm just tired of all these songs about chicks. He's such a soft fuckin' Emcee. It gets annoying. I like The People and The Game, but he needs to chill on the chick songs for a while.
thats some grown man shit--dude is almost 40, can't be young forever

I'm not sure I overstand this. Are you saying that Common does chick songs because that's the definition of "grown man shit"? I mean, a "grown man" should be able to write a song about anything. I'm just tired of the same ol', same ol' in Hip-Hop. If it's not gun clap, thug shit, it's soft baby, baby please shit. There's so much more to write about. Feel me?
i think he is saying a grown man tackles topics like relationships and life
where as a faggot ass cornball bitch kneegrow spends all his hours talking about other dudes and singing about wiping down guns will his body guards watch from his mansion in Connecticut far far away from the hood
see "grown man" shit.

I think he just really found his lane and he's getting the most out of it. Broads be responding to Comm and those songs are probably paying a lot of bills and making up for lost time (money) that he should have been getting with his earlier endeavors.
If you look at his progression from "Can I Borrow..." to "Resurrection" to the very experimental "Electric Circus" til now, it's all been a slightly different lane/direction. Some the people responded to better than others though it was all good. I applaud his efforts in always being willing to push the creativity envelope. Remember his line, "It's not about the money, I could have sampled Diana Ross a long time ago"? He's truly trying to elevate the game and now he deserves to get some his proper slice of the pie. Shit, Soulja boy getting it. Even mega wack ass T-Pain is getting. If anybody deserves to eat good off this music shit it's Comm.
I know what he's capable of and he still drops hotness here and there. Niggas don't want it with him for real. Ask Cube and his flunkies. So I'm comfortable with what he's doing right now.
