Cruel Cops Fatally Shoot Elderly Woman Having A Mental Health Episode

Woman was having an episode so she was for all intents and purposes crazy....911 call stated this so the cop should know this...repeatedly saying drop the knife ain't gonna register for her crazy ass...there had to be a better way

So, I watched 2 women leave the residence unharmed, and from my observation the 2nd woman appeared to be calm. Now, you're one on one with an elderly woman who suffers from dementia and your only means to quell the situation is to shoot and kill her?
When it's your life, family or loved ones in jeopardy you seek compassion and understand even mercy, but do you have that for others that don't look like you?

Never EVER call the 911 when someone is having a mental health episode. Every major city should have an non-emergency number where they can dispatch an officer trained to deescalate. If you call 911 you're going to get an officer already to take physical action.

Since there is already 311, they could use that. That said, in a functional country one emergency number should be enough.

If someone is having a medical emergency, you dial 911 and state the nature of the emergency. Telling the dispatcher that you're calling about a mental health emergency should be enough to get appropriate help. But, again, the US is not a functional country; it's dysfunctional.
