Dancing FBI agent accidentally shoots man inside Denver bar after gun that fell out of his waistband while doing back flip goes off

A FBI agent accidentally shot a bar patron in Colorado on Saturday after his gun fell out of his waistband while doing a back flip, and went off when he picked it back up

Denver police said they responded to a shooting at the the Mile High Spirits Distillery and Tasting Bar around 12.45am.

Paramedics were called to the scene and took the man with a gunshot wound to his leg to the hospital.

Video of the incident captured by an eyewitness was later uploaded to the Internet.

The clip shows the FBI agent busting a move at the bar in front of a crowd

About 10 seconds into film, the agent can be seen doing a backflip during which a gun falls out of the back of his waistband, according Fox affiliate KDVR 13.

As he goes to retrieve the weapon, the gun goes off leaving onlookers shocked and mortified.

'It appears an off-duty... FBI agent was dancing at a night club when his firearm became dislodged from its waistband holster and fell onto the floor,' a statement from Denver police said.

'When the agent retrieved his handgun an unintended discharge occurred, another patron was struck by a bullet in the lower leg,' the statement added.

The FBI agent can then be seen nonchalantly walking off the dance floor, appearing not to be too concerned that his weapon just discharged inside a crowded bar.

The woman who captured the incident on her phone, identified only as Julie, told KDVR that she could hardly believe what she was witnessing.

'Everyone was kind of shocked after it happened because [the agent] kind of put his gun back away and then he walked away,' Julie said.

'No one really knew what was going on... I honestly just wanted to make sure that my friends… [that] I knew where they were,' she added.

The agent was taken to Denver Police Headquarters and released into the custody of a FBI supervisor.

The Denver District Attorney's Office is reviewing the case and will determine if charges will be brought up against the agent.

a) These guns are dangerous, aren't they. How many videos have been posted on this forum of people accidentally shooting themselves?

b) The power Instagram. Why is that fool doing the dances of Werrason. Credit me and BGOL. I begun the industry of putting African
music videos on the internet way back in 2002 or 2003. I went through hell just to find a codec to take them from VHS to wmv format;
Then I had to put them on Putfile, one of the earliest free hosts of streaming media. I could not have done it without the wealth of
knowledge that I was able to obtain from BGOL

Guns are only dangerous if you are carrying a live round in it. I never felt comfortable carrying a live round in my gun when I carry it.

Guns aren't dangerous, people are. Guns have safety locks that prevents the gun from firing and you never pick a gun up by its trigger.

If you were to pick up a gun and insert the clip, the gun has safety features that will prevent a bullet from entering the chamber. So keep that in mind.

If you picked up your gun and inserted the clip as mentioned, then attempted to pull the trigger the gun would not fire. (Safety feature). You would need to insert the clip then cock/chamber the gun. You probably seen this in plenty movies where someone picks up the guns and cocks/chambers it. Doing this puts a live bullet in the chamber

“live Bullet” means ready to fire mode. Ready mode or “live bullet” means if you pull or in some cases aggravate the stringer the gun is goin to fire.

I can understand why a cop would keep their gun in ready mode because if something pops off you can just grab your gun and fire. No waisted time having to grab your gun and cock/chamber it. In this case dude should have taken his gun off ready mode. Was no need to have it in ready mode
