You're right, but I can see some possible similarities down the road. Hitler had Germany's economy booming, and created a shit load of jobs, but it had to be paid for. Taxes were raised and salaries were almost cut in half to pay for it all and workers were required to work longer hours. When the people stopped being drunk on the Kool Aid and started being pissed off, they started asking him questions he couldn't answer, he created a reason for why things were no longer good. A reason that everyone could get behind: The Jews. Who's going to be the Jews this time?
