They are trying to fix their broken crystal balls.
True…If the Buffs don't improve coaching and game management, recruits don't mean nothing.
Here are my numbers and I may be off by just a hair. They signed that center from IMG too. as a preferred walk on per the reporting I saw. I am curious about the story behind that. The kid is a 3 star and had other offers. It is my opinion that CU had enough scholarships to get him, and that he chose to be a walk on. If so, why? That is a story that needs reporting. It might demonstrate a level of commitment to a program that we have never seen. A 3 star walk on? The Big 12 should take note.

Dude been working this plan for 5 years now. He did state that in year 3 or 4 that’s when you could take more high schoolers because you have your foundation. You might can take 40-50% high school kids
You talking out your ass with all this Deion on the hot seat nonsense. The minute they fire Deion, is the minute CU goes back to being has-beens. He's brought in more money for the university than they have ever seen and that's just based on what his celebrity status brings. As longs as the money is flowing Deion can do whatever he plans to do. Stop with the chopping block bullshit. These CACS are not stupid and in fact they need to up THEIR booster game if they want the top recruits. That ain't Deion job to offer the money it's their boosters.Unfortunately this may get him fired. Some of the top recruiting sites have written some scathing articles about their class. People are taking notice.
It is hard to defend because signing a class of 5 recruits is unthinkable. Prime put all his chips in this 2024 season and if he doesn’t win, the heat he faces will be severe.
I personally don’t like this strategy but we will have to see how it plays out.
I hear what you are saying and as much as we would love to believe for it to be true, we know a black head coach won’t get time. We never get leeway. You talking out your ass with all this Deion on the hot seat nonsense. The minute they fire Deion, is the minute CU goes back to being has-beens. yea I feel youI love how they pretend it’s about the education when the minute you get let go from the team your scholarship is gone. If they gave a fuck about the kids’ education they would guarantee that scholarship regardless. This is just another extension of colleges trying exert control over players. Pre-NIL bullshit has nothing to do with education. Credits are credits.
Are you for unlimited transfers or against them and for the one time immediately eligibility rule currently?I love how they pretend it’s about the education when the minute you get let go from the team your scholarship is gone. I’m for unlimited transfers. Pretending like college football is about education is disingenuous. Are you for unlimited transfers or against them and for the one time immediately eligibility rule currently?
I am kind of on the fence and selfishly leaning towards one time transfer. That’s me just being selfishI’m for unlimited transfers. Pretending like college football is about education is disingenuous.
This has no benefit to the player. NIL was about the players taking control of their image to benefit their income. This conversation is no different. It’s the same lame “about the education“ argument they used to say NIL is not good. I’m not hearing shit else until they guarantee those educations they care so much about.I am kind of on the fence and selfishly leaning towards one time transfer. That’s me just being selfish
