From my numbers I gathered. I think Colorado did not have room for him. If we do quick math.
2023 = 85 scholarships
- 11 (graduated)
- 9 (transferred)

= 65
That would leave them with 20 slots available. However this may be slightly off because they did not use all 85 scholarships last year. I think they used 78 scholarships. So I think they had between 20 and 30 scholarships available
The Buffs took 17 transfers and 6 highschool players for a total of 23. I assume they will save the remainder for the spring portal
I cannot believe I'm actually following Colorado College football off season moves.

College football overall was boring to causal fans.
This guy helped energize a hope of excitement outside the norm.
Is he prefect Naw, will everything be peaches and cream Naw
but I’m be here or there to watch… and I’m sure you will also.
These fuckers had many of us watching at 1am…
The “our way” movement in Boulder have folks paying attention to this team more than their beloved teams, (let that set in).
If Barrack was President, I’m willing to bet he’d visit the campus.
This is the level excitement this one guy have sprung upon that campus.
You have folks hoping he fail just to say I told you so.

I'm east coast so college football is hit and miss. It was Big East like Penn Rutgers but you know everybody Notre Dame here especially Catholic. Of course there was the Miami time.
But I never understood the anger over adopting Colorodo "as the black team"
Georgetown wasn't black or an HBCU but we TOOK that. RIP Big John.

All those NEW folks who cared so much about SWAC? Since Prime left they stayed? Cause those who were there before STILL are. Hell I was still checking them out too.
And I'm going to keep following Colorado. I like a story. I like Prime for better or for worse. And I never liked the joy black folk had for any failure he had. There was ENOUGH of that from the other side. You ain't gonna love him. But don't hate him publicly. You can temper expectation that's good. But that being on the hater side just because? I would pass on him. The buffs don’t need a bunch of average players.
Syracuse will probably be black Americas team. Fran Brown is an elite recruiter and they already bringing in talent

1st - special teams - returning
2nd - receivers - turning and adding players replace guys going to NFL
Safeties returning even added a nice transfer…
so it’s safe to say in those areas, you can expect to see better results.
You pretty much know your personal and what they put out
I watched all of the new offensive line transfers and I like what I saw. I am confident on saying they will be much improved over last season.
Can they control the line of scrimmage is something to be determined. By controlling the line of scrimmage is having a line like Michigan or Georgia where everyone know you are running and you still move bodies.

He is decent player and should be a solid pick up
How is that defensive line looking? Both lines needed an upgrade.

I think seven offensive and 4 defensive (2 dt’s & 2 edge)
You will see comments saying these wasn’t good pickups but you know how some folks get down.
Number 1 portal transfer class once again… and that didn’t include that last 3 transfers
The high school players commits was low. He had a few de-commits but it’s kool.
The total number was lower than expected.

They didn’t land any premier or difference maker in the portal or highschool. I think they could be solid upfront but just not dominant.
They should be able to hold their own. If they can get a top 40 defense that would be sufficient
If people saying they were not good pick ups are just being extra. They didn’t land any blue chip players but they are a solid group.
The Buffs don’t need a top 10 defense. A top 50 would get them minimum record of 7-5 . Have a few balls bounce their way it can be as high as 11-2 or 8-4

I met Lane when he was at Tennessee, I just say I ain’t surprised.
Fran Brown is the number 1 recruiter in the nation and he has already put in work.
