Just watched it again and noticed he's the cat in nearly all my fav funny parts.
His "I feel like breakdancing!" line always cracks me up, as well as his fall on the
steps running for the door. The brother was the gel that held the movie down allowing
Eddy to take his time and do his thing. One thing I've always noticed about Eddies best movies
he always surrounded himself with great seasoned actors, in great roles. John is definitely one of those.
Salute to a great actor who loves his craft and lives to laugh!

But I agree with you, your absolutely right, he gave Eddy the time to do his thing while keeping us occupied with his character.
