I knew a few people...most were fuckups but some became doctors and lawyers because it was the family business or its expected that they either go into certain professions or own businesses.

One guy's mom was an heir to the Coca cola fortune...the Candler family. He was a major fuckup...disgusting pig of a man. Only saw his momma to come ask for more money. Can't get right type of dude just laying around eating and drinking himself to death.

This girl named Ashley...her dad is a top lawyer in the South. He was self made. So she was gonna grow up wealthy cause of him...then her grandma died in the VALUEJET crash. Her dad prosecuted and won a major payout so that was MAJOR family wealth.

She's never had a job. She was miss Georgia or some shit and turned that into a business coaching little girls who want to beauty pageants. Also was given multiple commercial real estate properties on Flat Shoals Road (Atlanta area). Also was on a Atlanta reality TV show but got kicked off the first episode.

Married a guy named Joe. His dad was even wealthier, I'm talking one of the wealthiest families in Georgia. Mansion down the street from and bigger than the Governors Mansion. Joe was a model looking condescending guy who failed in various ventures that had his dad's financial backing. He couldn't handle her mouth and ended up leaving her in the middle of the night, a sad defeated boy...they married around 24.

So you would have enough money to never work a day in your life had you not got married?

I have two cousins (they are sisters) who graduated from HS and had babies at 18; immediately got on welfare and moved to Minnesota because the welfare payouts were better; proceeded to have more kids and the government paid the housing, food, utilities; all that. This was the 80s when the kids = checks come up was huge. Food stamps were in paper books so those could be sold for cash; if you didn’t have stamps you could come up on $100 of stamps for $50 cash. Oh yeah, they also lived with a few different dope dealers so they lifted few fingers.

When Clinton’s welfare reforms took effect they were temporarily fucked and ended moving back to IN......where they proceeded to supplement the lost welfare benefits with government dollars for disabilities a few of the kids had (legitimate, like ADHD and Autism type behaviors before Autism blew up as an epidemic), and eventually both found they way onto the government disability roll. To this day, even with the kids being grown they survive on government benefits for disability for themselves and two of the kids (one each) who can’t live on their own.

Grew up with a preachers son who has never had a job. Nigga does what he wants because money will never be an issue. He’s the one who told me to never trust anyone involved with church

A few women in my childhood neighborhood were housewives, if that counts. I got some of the best game regarding women from them

Interesting thread. I don’t know anyone who fits into this category though. I was out of work for 9 months this year and I didn’t mind not working once I had money. If I had enough I don’t think I’d work ever again.

When you mean work do you mean legally or not legally... I know some that never worked legally but illegally... Than I know some that inherit bread and dont

My first thought was neighborhood homeless folks but panhandling is work.

Similarly, the people I knew who never had a legal job were still working...

It seems to be a miserable existence the vast majority of the time.

They say do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life.

I think that's bullshit and Nas was bullshitting when he said it here. It's just better than doing work you hate.

The only people I can think of who truly never work and don't suffer for it are the Kim Jong Uns and Prince Charleses of the world...

My grandma on my fathers side. Never worked a day in her life. Never drove a car either. Had money stashed everywhere. My granddad was broke.

I know of a few and they all get more beta and paranoid as they mature..

No way for real man to maturs
Agreed. If a man don’t hustle or grind for bus shit he can never value those who do or the things he acquires. Same for females. They don’t appreciate what men go through or even spend on them because they don’t have to do it.

Did she raise her kids while her husband was out earning money? Housework is work and, when it comes to kids, the labor only begins after childbirth.

Stay-at-home moms should be paid over $160,000 a year to care for their kids, study says
FOH. These kids in preschool at 3. White chicks mastered the 'stay-at-home' mom hustle. Kids are in fucking school and they still claiming 'stay-at-home' mom status. And what's that mean for the man? When he takes care of the kid, does that count as a second job? He plays all the roles being attributed to the woman and has the pressure of supporting her. And becoming a parent is a life choice, not a fucking career path. That goes for men and women. As parents, nothing we do is ever on a pay scale.

Housework is work? No it's not. It comes with living in the fucking house. Men and women do it. Retirees do it. Ask them if it's work. This ain't the 19th century when folks had to fetch clean water, didn't have electricity, and had to skin and dress the meat. House is tidy after breakfast and chick has the rest of the day to be 'bored'.

White women created this myth of it being so hard because they hate admitting how good they had it as suburban housewives. Man. These chicks were living the fucking life. Any chick who can still pull this hustle off is living the American dream.

LOL. I'll give you that it isn't $160,000 worth of work compared to how other jobs pay, but there is more to raising kids than simply maintaining a house and it is a vitally important job in our society.

If we actually did have universal pre-K, universal childcare and the other services we should have in this society, it would be much less of a job. But we don't.

(I notice you very often deal in extremes and warp reality to make your points. i.e. It's impossible that anyone was legitimately appalled by Bill Maher actually literally calling for fat people to be shamed-- it's a conspiracy aimed at "silencing ANY criticism." And you can't just say that the nature being a stay-at-home mom has changed for some people-- it's "FOH. These kids in preschool at 3," even though that's not true for 70% of kids 3-5 years old. That might work for preaching to the choir but you can't expect your points to be taken seriously when you're so triggered by society's evolution that you constantly have to resort to hysterics and strawmen.)

I stand by my 'extreme' claim and 'warped' reality. By your own link, 53 percent of the kids are in SOME preschool. You just used full-time. How convenient. So much for warped reality, right?

Do you even have kids? Unless you have a special needs child, kids aren't hard. I currently contract from home full fucking time WHILE taking care of a toddler. Do I consider watching my kid work? Hell no. It's not. While working AND watching a toddler, I actually sometimes get bored and clean up. I have to look for shit to do. And that's with virtual meetings, deadlines, dealing with the occasional business disagreement, invoicing, negotiations, etc.

When I speak on a topic, I know what the fuck I'm talking about. That's why I'm usually proven right most the damn time. The few times I'm wrong, I'll own it.

I'm qualified to say doing this shit ain't work. Now anyone with a special needs kid is putting in work. Much respect to them.
