I just don't see Duke winning the championship the way that kid plays basketball. It's like he has tunnel vision and he's the only person on the court. To be the number one player in the country his basketball IQ sucks.
At some point coach K has to get off his ass and coach. The shot selection and poor decisions Barrett are making, whether hating or not, can be managed. Coach K seems to give zero fucks.
The decision for Barrett and Reddish to play beside Zion has cost them millions in endorsements and contract money already. RJ Barrett's bucket list was not fulfilled because of Zion, he is slightly jealous. Barrett broke all the Duke freshman scoring records, played in all the games without injury, and Zion got Freshmen and ACC Player of the Year, and probably National Player of the Year. They could have at least given Barrett, Freshman of the Year.
RJ has been leading Duke in scoring since day 1, but people expect RJ to all of a sudden stop taking clutch shots? Not gonna happen
They did not win the ACC Title, but still can win the ACC Tourney and NCAA Tourney, but RJ is looking at the big picture. He has dominated the AAU circuits and HS basketball since he was a sophomore in hs, now he has to play second fiddle. It is a hard pill to swallow. We all know, if they run the offense through Zion, they have a great shot at winning every game from here on out, but is RJ willing to sacrifice millions and dominant reputation to help Zion and Coach K look good.
Zion is not even in the top 20 in the NCAA in scoring averages, but he is promoted as the highest scorer in college basketball. RJ and Reddish are envying Zion big time.

He’s simply not as dominant a player on this level as Zion. He needs to go along
