If you go back to the original lawsuit, one of the main issues was the fact that players could be edited.

Do you remember EA Sports Locker and how we used to share rosters?

There were even rumors that EA would allow certain people to have the game early because there people were roster makers and could have all 125 teams done in a matter of days and essentially be ready by the time the game was released and the announcers would also say the edited player's last names.

EA can't risk that shit, which is also why this game isn't on PC. (I was looking to buy it on Steam)

Also, this is why All-Pro Football 2K8 was so limited in creativity that they let you have.

I could go on and on when it comes to creativity suites in sports and racing games but you get the point.

People been complaining online about this. It's been well known that editing would be limited this time. Doesn't matter if it's online play or offline. Saw people talking about they would just change the names around for players who had not opted in at the time. Like Arch Manning AKA "Lark Spanning"...EA not stupid and was never gonna leave a loop hole that big.

EA spent money on lawyers. To know how to avoid getting sued. You can edit numbers, equipment and even names of generic players, as long as they are not someone that opted out. All editing of attributes are locked from what I understand. I been busy and have not had a chance to load it up yet. Plan on checking it out later.

This isn't even a star player, but it's the point of the matter. I can't edit information they got wrong? This player is a sophomore, not a senior, but they have him listed as a senior and I can't change it.

If you can't edit the bio or the attributes then why even have an edit screen?

This is fucked up. You got players who signed up to be in the game but are not in the game. God damn EA Sports

Using Miami as an example

Main Roster

Some Freshmen and sophomores computer generated players ratings, name and physical appearance can be changed !!!

DT Crawford, Kramer
CB Massey, Andrews
LB Benson, Morgan
etc etc

If it's non-recognizable FR/SO they're more likely to be edited

Think they only let you edit equipment for NIL players.

They did this shit because those who didn't sign up and didn't want their name and likeness to be in the game, before you could just add them or change The backup long snapper into the star defensive end that didn't want to be in the game. Now you can't edit a goddamn thing.

Not only that, they got a lot of the rosters wrong. One player they have as a senior when he's really a sophomore and I can't fix that. Another player, Suntarine Perkins Ole Miss, isn't in the game when he signed up so he should be. God damn EA Sports

I think a patch coming out on the 19th. It should address some of the issues, but I doubt it will fix it all. Will prob take several patches to get most of it done. I've seen several post about wrong mascots celebrating touch downs, teams not having on correct jerseys, etc. I had plans to get the early drop for the 15th..but didn't get around to it. I'll prob jump in on it Friday.

How many years did they have on this game? This is like them failing and open book test. God damn it

I am a franchise guy, so I can't get my franchise started until they fixed the rosters right. I got so frustrated moving around not being able to edit any goddamn thing at all and I played one game and haven't picked it up since

This game lived up to the hype. You won’t be able to dominate on defense because this game definitely favors the offense
