it messed with me man it really did
And it makes you think...
we look at EACH OTHER with such derision
even casually on the street to the point where we don't even say hi or good morning to each other anymore just off the strength of being Black and the struggle
The fact that....you look JUST LIKE me...and for SOME REASON i hate you for it

We are human. That's the answer to your question. Forgive me. I don't mean to go too far left, but a geneticist/professor just came out and announced African people are the closest to being 100% human.
Whereas every other ethnicity is not and has higher fucking blood levels of Neanderthal, but that's just my theory.
And the fucking irony that we've been labeled three-fifths of man.
African people need to mentally practice perceiving these cacs as a demented subspecies not capable of our natural righteousness and good-nature.
Only then can we effectively and militarily defend ourselves with no qualms.
Friend of mine just told me he showed this to a cac and he said why we gotta keep bringing up Emmitt Till.

Powerful. We are not our own worst enemy. The man has that position sewed up due to the powerful White people in control and the manipulative methods they use at not only controlling the jobs, housing markets/prices. They also corrupt how Blacks and Whites are viewed by each other and the rest of the world by the reporting of news stories. The conniving way they showed the Tamir Rice case ensured mass waves of White people believed that police did nothing wrong.
We are however Public Enemy Number 2 from ways too numerous to name at this moment, but including the crabs in a barrel mentality which intentionally hold each other down and inhibit the growth of anyone, including own own kids. Failure to support each other for positive things and instead supporting the negative - this includes the idiotic "Stop Snitching" policy which keeps criminals, particularly the violent ones and murderers, in our communities.
I could go on, but I'm not at this point. They bred us to hate each other, and the mass usage of the N word sickens me. I don't use it, and often even change the word to something else in rap songs I sing. I use brother or sister when speaking to Black people I don't know in the street. We have to start doing better, but since I've been alive (1977) we have gotten progressively worse.

You wanna know what hurts. When I was teaching 6th grade literacy, one day in afternoon homeroom. A group of kids were going back and forth about their sneakers. One mentioned they had on "Jordans". So I interrupted them, and asked, "do you even know who Jordan is"? The class got quiet. No one knew. This one kid wasn't sure, he said, "he plays basketball... right"? I wasn't going to explain who MJ was. But I was a bit disappointed. Most things, not everything, but most of the things blacks kids know, they get from school, and that's BAD!
I wasn't disappointed because they didn't know who one of the greats were, I was disappointed at the fact that they thought Jordan was just a BRAND, and not an actual PERSON. Also, this was around the time the Jordan 11 Concords dropped, and people were fighting, shooting and getting robbed at the malls. So, I am thinking, you/your family risking injury for a pair of shoes and you don't know who or what this person is.
