I joined Meta, then Facebook, 15 years ago today. We were four years old, had ~450 employees, had just translated the site, and had ~70M people.
Today we hit that many signups on Threads. Now signups and retained users are different, and we built Threads on top of an amazing foundation provided by Instagram and by Meta, but there is something elegant about that symmetry.

Yep. Once they clean up the feed issues, I can see this being the goto for news based accounts. Then we might see 3rd party browser based options like Tweetdeck come into play to further increase the visibility of the feeds. That's what I believe made Twitter and Tweetdeck so convenient. You could have a multiple feed lists available to view in a browser via columns.
