Eminem appeared on a new Fat Joe track called “Lord Above” on his new album Family Ties and recalled how Nick Cannon wanted to fight him over Mariah Carey, who he claims he was dating at the time.

"Word to the Terror Squad, Joe, this is all puns aside though / I know me and Mariah didn't end on a high note," Em rhymes on the track. "But that other dude's whipped, that p***y got him neutered / Tried to tell him this chick's a nut job before he got his jewels clipped / Almost got my caboose kicked, fool, quit, you not gon' do s**t / I let her chop my balls off, too 'fore I lost to you, Nick / I should quit watchin' news clips, yeah / My balls are too big, I should be talkin' pool / 'Cause I got scratches on my pocket, fall when I'm takin' shots at you."

Eminem and Nick’s long-standing rap feud started back in 2009 when Em dissed him on the 2009 track “The Warning.”
The new diss comes at around the same time Eminem took shots at other figures in music on another song. Featured on “Bang (Remix)” by Griselda, a trio of rappers from Buffalo, New York, Em recalled his beef with Ja Rule.
“Yeah, lookin' back on my feuds / How me and Ja Rule almost got cool,” he raps. “'Cause we shot pool back in '01 / Was it '02? I don't know, but / Something told me f****n' not to / Then we got stuck in high school, I shoved an Oscar up his wazoo.”

He also slammed Iggy Azalea, who he previously dissed on his track “Killshot” from last year. “Compare me to lightnin', that similarity's strikin' / Compare me to Jaws / Compare me to / Manson, Marilyn or Charles / Compare me to Nas, Biggie, or Pac / Do not compare me to that Iggy b***h / Or all this f****n' Milli Vanilli hip-hop / This is where all that silly s**t stops,” he rapped.

Seems like Eminem is back to his old ways.

Nick Cannon Claps Back at ''Grandpa'' Eminem Over Mariah Carey Diss Track
Why you so obsessed with Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon, Eminem?

More than a decade after Eminem's short-lived romance with the pop queen made headlines, the rapper's latest verse on Fat Joe's new song "Lord Above" reveals he still harbours ill-will against Mariah and Nick.

"I know me and Mariah didn't end on a high note / But that other dude's whipped-that p---y got him neutered," Eminem raps on the track, which dropped Friday. "Tried to tell him this chick's a nut job before he got his jewels clipped / Almost got my caboose kicked / Fool, quit / You not gonna do s--t / I let her chop my balls off too before I lose to you, Nick."

Always one to defend his ex-wife and the mother of his children, Nick responded to Eminem on his Power 106 radio show.

"We should change his name from Eminem to Percocet," he said, clowning the hip-hop star's age. "What's the pill old people use? We are going to call him Cialis. Bring your walker, get out your wheelchair Eminem and pop whatever you want to pop."

Cannon later praised Fat Joe's album and invited Eminem to his comedy battle show Wild 'N Out, writing, "...he even did some charity work and dug @eminem out his grave I mean cave!! LOL FLAM FLAM! BLAM BLAM! NICK CANNON!! Bring your Ass to @MTVWILDNOUT to battle like a real legend Grandpa Marshall!!"

So where does this suddenly reignited celebrity feud even stem from?

Back in 2009, Eminem detailed his breakup from Mariah and dissed her then-husband, Nick, on "Bagpipes From Baghdad." Mariah famously responded to Eminem's lingering feelings for her with "Obsessed," and even dressed up like him for the shady music video. The rapper seemingly got the last word in by dropping "The Warning," which offered extremely explicit details about his and Mariah's sex life.

Fast forward several years and Nick recalled his initial reaction to the diss track on a September episode T.I.'s ExpidTIously podcast.
"I think we was flying back on a jet from Africa or somewhere and this motherf--ker drops a song, like, talking s--t," he said. "Calling [Mariah] all kinds of bitches and hoes. I'm like, this is my wife. This is my new wife. I wrote a letter first, I don't even know if Twitter had came out yet. So, I wrote this long-ass letter pretty much saying, 'Look, I respect you as an artist. I'm actually a fan and I think you're one of the best to ever do it. But from man to man, you talking out of pocket to my wife. You gotta be held accountable for that so I need to see you face-to-face.'"
It's safe to say Eminem and Nick never got the opportunity to squash their beef in person.

Strictly from a hip hop battle perspective, Nick don’t want that smoke and needs to stay in his comedically wholesome lane. He’s nowhere near close to Em’s level of rapping.
So... Nick should just tuck his tail and allow Em to son him by name--and keep shittin' on his ex-wife and mother of his kids all these years later--just because Em's nice with compound rhymes??? Nah. Nick should go out on his shield and punch Em in his mouth next time he sees him. (Because we know Em lil' ass can't fight.) Win, lose, or draw, Em left Nick no other choice but to respond.

They’ve done this before. Neither one of them are going to do anything to one another outside of throwing verbal jabs here and there.

I just can’t see Nick outshining a student of the game on a track. Let’s see how it plays out.

This is what I'm saying. People are talking this black/white shit, but I'm just saying Nick ain't on his level and never will be.
I honestly don't think Em is on the level most people put him on. That multisyllabic compound rhyme style of his only stood out on mainstream radio and pop charts. It was not at all unommon on the battle scene where Em started. Em got crowned king because people were comparing him to fellow commercial rappers who focused on style over lyricism, but, if you compare Em to his lyrical contemporaries who couldn't benefit from the Elvis effect--e.g. Black Thought--Em turns into the Steve Vai of rap.

Yawn. We talkin bout Nick Cannon. Ems better. But still, Nick should just kick his ass when he sees him. We don’t wanna hear a record.

From a strictly hip hop perspective Eminem never goes at other nice MCs. R&b artist, bitches, and rappers not known for lyricism are who he comes at with the full court press. Hes a straight bitch in my opinion. He don't pick fights with rappers he might get beat by fuck outta here.

Em could of went on Wildn Out and had a battle face to face. He won't do that

Cracker with the barrel, armed to the teeth, Anderson .Paak
Rest in peace to Afeni and her son Pac

First of all, neither are going to do shit. It'll be Em replying on songs and Nick replying in articles because he is nowhere near as nice. Em probably can't fight, but Nick has Lupus and other Heath issues and he ain't gonna do shit either. He was damn near on his death bed not too long ago.

For all y'all saying Em doesn't go at other MC's.....im saying that's not true. He generally goes after people who says shit about him first. It was Nick getting in his feelings mentioning Em FIRST. Same with Mariah. She made entire songs i.e. Obsessed going at him and talking slick shit before then. He didn't mention her first. But while she was denying anything happened, Em had those voicemails of her that said otherwise and she shit the fuck up after he finally replied.

Name one rap artist that he started beef with who didn't go after him first. I'll wait.

I just respect the craft....if you're nice, then you're nice. Leave all the other irrelevant shit outside and focus. And I like Nick as a person in general. He stands for what he believes, he's a Hustler, and a self made man. Gives good interviews too and doesn't candy coat bullshit. A man of principle.

I agree. In theory , Em SHOULD be able to beat Nick, off the top, even with it being Nicks crowd, cuz he's that much better, plus Nicks already spent his best shit in front of that crowd , so everything Em says will be fresh. Plus, Em has enough fans ANYWHERE , including in Nicks own house. If they secretly brewed this up , in order to get the biggest ratings EVER, and actually patched this up already, that would be a stroke of genius. Otherwise, this “beef” played itself out years ago. Me and Nick are bitches, but in this, Ems a bigger bitch.

why would eminem want to battle nick on a show he executive produces. Nick think em is stupid to fall for that. all he would do is edit it and make it look closer than it really was. anytime you edit out someone taking your hat off on the show you definately would edit some bars out.

 That’s all it is. Black and white don’t mean shit here.

It’s someone who rose through the ranks of hip hop culture and survived it vs a gimmicky comedian.

It’s not even close, but again, if Nick wants it, by all means. I’ll happily watch the massacre unfold.

Dude still beefing with Mariah? Proves what mariah said 10 years ago. Eminem is obsessed with her. Battling Nick and Mariah to stay relevant but still got nothing to say to Gucci.
